A posted line is set 6 hours prior to game time by which all Handicappers are judged. The Handicapper's won/loss record is recorded to the database in various categories such as College, Pro, and etc. The Handicapper is then presented with a list of his recent performance histories from which he may choose to promote himself.  It is important to note that a handicapper cannot promote any record he does not have; he can only select a record which exists in the documentation database.  So if a handicapper displays a record in the Documented By area of his pages, you can be sure that Sportswire  has documentation to back up the record!
